Socials

Our social events provide an excellent platform to meet fellow neuroscience majors who share your passion for exploring the intricacies of the brain. From ice cream socials, to painting sessions, our gatherings offer a perfect blend of relaxation and intellectual stimulation. These events are a great way to connect with peers who understand your academic journey and can offer valuable insights and a sense of togetherness.

Panels

During the semester we host panels of experts to help give you greater insight. These panels can include faculty, researchers, or even neuroscience alumni from Georgia Tech to talk about future career paths.

Labs

Labs are an excellent way to extend neuroscience learning beyond the classroom. These hands-on experiences are carefully designed to immerse you in the world of neuroscience. The most recent lab entailed the dissection of a sheep's brain.

Volunteer Opportunities

Throughout the semester, there will be multiple volunteer opportunities to give back to the community. These opportunities can be neuroscience related to more general services in Atlanta.

Mentorship

Student Neuroscience Association offers mentor-mentee pairs between upper and lower classmen. These relationships offer great advice from students who have been in your same position. In addition, there are also dedicated mentor-mentee events, so mentors and mentees can get to know each other better.

More

While this is a few examples of some of the activities we put on, there are many more that do not quite fit into any one mold. Many exciting activities and events occur during the school year, so make sure to join to hear all of the opportunities!
